Creating and editing need a POSIX system with directory handles and hard links (Linux or macOS). Every command writes a new file and never overwrites one.

Install The Workspace Skill

Download the skill ZIP and inspect it before installation. It contains one showpapers-collections folder with SKILL.md, the current guides and the reference tool. It does not require an account or a service connection to work with local files.

For Codex, extract it into .agents/skills from your workspace root:

Or download the same ZIP from the terminal:

The extraction command keeps existing files. For a complete fresh installation, extract into an empty skill folder.

Ask your assistant to use the showpapers-collections skill and attach the papers or collection. See workspace examples and Codex's skill documentation. For another assistant, use its supported local skill directory.
