Collection import, protected files, AI suggestion review and changes documents are separate capabilities. A valid file must still be supported by the receiving application, with enough capacity for the selected records. Unknown structures are refused completely.

- Collections and records. Original documents, rich Notes, paper records, readings, provenance, review state, people, folders, reminders and relationships.
- Reviewable edits. Proposed changes identify their exact base and produce a new copy after validation and review.
- AI interchange. Content-based file recognition, direct collection sharing, optional companions and changes documents.
- Protected files. An optional encrypted envelope protects a collection with a separate recovery key.
